For this week’s #Jcollab, we have Bonny sharing with us the quote "Wild Heart".
"I will lead her into the wilderness and speak to her heart." - Hosea 2:14
The word 'wilderness' might scare us sometimes because it paints the picture of perhaps scarcity, drought and solitude. However I have found that this is often how the Lord draws me closer to Him - by deliberately leading me into the 'wilderness' where I am left with very little external means, nothing else to set my soul upon apart from Him. This is where I am given the privilege to dialogue with Jesus heart to heart, spirit to spirit. It is not a comfortable place, it is testing, unpredictable and wild. But this is where my wild love for Him gets cultivated. This is where I see my own heart within His with clarity. So accept the invitation, follow the lead. Meet Him there. Meet Him wild.
