Faith Over Fear

In this time of uncertainty and change, fear and anxiety begin to rule our hearts. It is so easy to fill our minds with thoughts of what is to come.

I find myself drowning in worry and anxiousness, not knowing how to plan ahead, but every time that I feel that way, I am reminded that we are called to be a people of faith, of hope and of peace. So I opt to trade in this anxiety and worry and place it at the foot of the cross where Jesus promises to carry those burdens for me, and instead trade them for His peace. I put my hope and faith in an unchanging God who is FOR me and not against me.

In a God who has been the same yesterday, is the same today and will be the same forever. I may not know what the future holds, but I have faith in who it is that holds the future. Romans 15:13 -

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”
